Legends Pinball HD

I purchased this in August of 2023, a massive purchase for the average consumer, at the time over $1000 not counting any of the $25 to $50 table packs. And after receiving, and using, have found endless problems. The pinball packs are nearly zero these days. They maybe have released two packs in the year or so since... and hundreds for their 4K machine, tables they will never add to the HD machine as they chose to cancel all hardware upgrades. They should not have sold an obsolete machine and certainly no one should buy this machine now. All support, all upgrades, all future tables seemingly have been abandoned, including the upgrade board which when I purchased was listed as being available for this machine to keep it growing and expanding... they then canceled it and I was left as many who purchased in 2023 with a massive brick. As for basic playability, you have to log in just to play tables you have bought and even stored on your own storage drive, a requirement for adding tables. So I own the machine, own the tables, and can't play half the time because of a known issue where the wifi hardware inside the machine is so poorly designed and built that it constantly asks you to sign in, even right after signing in successfully. I almost always have to spend half an hour signing in again and again, before a fluke will cause it to remain signed in... only for it to sign me out later. Worth mentioning they claim there is a firmware update now ONLY FOR 4K MACHINES that allows offline play. Curious how that basically admits the fault of their build while further ignoring the owners of this machine.

I own plenty of other arcade machines, custom built by me over the years, and every single one of them remains connected to my network without fail. Why would a supposedly professionally designed and built consumer product costing over a thousand dollars not have just as good a connection? Best I can tell AtGames is all about money, charge massive amounts for a machine, then more for game packs, then because you spent that massive amount of money, you can't do anything they don't want to let you do without paying them more, logging into their network, and generally feeding them more money. About the only thing worse would be them requiring you to actually pay each time you played the game, which I'd not be surprised to see them include in future products.

Do yourself a favor if even considering this, get a custom built machine instead and use a Pi or other emulator board to load as many games, etc as you want, and you won't ripped off and ignored by the company like I have been. Despite their claims of support, they have completely stopped replying to my questions. Early 2024, they actually responded claiming there were plans for future new tables, all sorts of positive intentions and plans to continue supporting this product. They eventually stopped replying because they would say in future months and I would contact months later, only to be told further future months, and I contacted months later... etc etc...

Machine works great and was easy to setup. There is tons of different pinball games to choose from. It is a great addition to go with the Legends arcade machine we already have.

Love the legends pinball HD. I wish it had the same tables options as the 4k. It would be nice if Zen studios made tables for the pinball legends HD and not only the 4k

Hi I have a Legends H D pinball machine. It sure would be nice to be able to get some new pinball packs for this. But it seems like there will not be or maybe a lot later they will come out. I think your focus is on the 4 k products & you have forgotten about your HD owners. We have spent a ton of money with you & we need a change ! I own all the tables you have & thats a lot of dough so please get some new games. Also I have had to repair my plunger twice each time the screws come loose on the end of the plunger & the circuit board. I am an Appliance Repair tech so no big deal but now my right side flipper button is lagging. Please help !!!!

Had the machine for a couple weeks now. Family really likes it as do I. But now after two weeks the right side flipper switch seems to have developed a dead spot and increasingly does not activate the flipper. I tried contacting support but all you get is a 503 service error which is their issue as that is a server problem. There is no phone number to call that I can find. I tried messaging their Facebook page but only get an automated response that gives me a link that, you guessed it, gives me another 503 service error. I'm beginning to wonder what the use is to pay for an extended warranty when these guys won't even make themselves accessible. I guess my next option is to contact their corporate people and see if someone can get me some support. It shouldn't take this though so while the machine is great they get only two stars due to poor customer service.
