I've been waiting for years for digital pinball to get close enough to the real thing, and it finally reached that point. I was optimistic when I purchased the Micro 4K a couple years ago, but was hesitant with the full-size table given the price. However, the AtGames' previous announcement of the partnership with Zen Pinball, along with the introduction of the "Starter" table this summer, hit the sweet spot for me. I'm very happy with my purchase. Although I have modded other AtGames (and Arcade1Up) products, I plan to use this product for native games only, so I didn't need the OTG feature that comes with the other machines. Nor did I want a topper, a bunch of Zaccharia games, or the enhanced sound system (at least, for now :-) ). So this is exactly what I wanted, and the availability of two of my favorite Williams tables from the 1990's - Star Trek: The Next Generation and The Twilight Zone - was icing on the cake (the games are an additional purchase of $15 each). A few minor suggestions... 1. The plunger doesn't seem quite sensitive enough for skill shots on some of the tables. However, I have yet to tinker with the plunger settings, so perhaps this will correct the issue. 2. Ease of use of the buttons. Aside from the directional pad, all of the buttons needed to navigate the menus and play the game are on the front or side of the table, which means you can't see them. So it was a little cumbersome to step back from the table and bend over to identify the buttons whenever I wanted to add credits or go back to the menu. I eventually memorized everything, but I've noticed people visiting my place have the same struggles. I had originally planned to make a magnetic template to lay across the bottom edges of the table to indicate which menu buttons did what, which side buttons were flippers vs shake, etc... However, when the magnetic sheet arrived, I discovered that, unlike the top side edges and legs of the table, the top front edge is not metal (although it looks exactly like the metal parts). So, I may purchase some thin silicone moulding that runs from the top front edge to the buttons. This will at least let me feel the way to the buttons.
