In my opinion these are the best looking games for the 4KP. I think that's because they were designed and created specifically for the machine that it plays on and there was no reformatting or resizing everything looks really brilliant.

From the colors to the textures on the screen to the carefully placed objects in targets for scoring points everything is in a place where you can really dial in your control and learning of each table. It just really feels like everything was optimized to play on this device, not ported in.

Each of the tables has music that sort of reminds me of elevator music or waiting room music, but it gives plenty of room for the sound effects of the game to lay on top of and enhance the fun. Moreover these games have more of a relaxing approach and family fun feel than some of the newer tables that are really action-packed and remind me more of an arcade that are designed to rush or excite. I would say they have more of a mellow feel incense and that's a really nice change of pace for when you want to play in the morning or play with smaller children. It's more simple fun!

Each table has some miniature play fields in it that diversify the type of targets and approach to scoring which keep things refresh.

I loved the water effects in deep ocean, the loops and ramps in Africa where it's easy to start multiball... The golden colors and music of Egypt. And my favorite of all was all the moving characters in Polar Expedition, it's icy world is very inviting.

These are easy games to play with relaxed voice overs to guide you, and excellent high quality animal effects. Plenty of playtime here in four fun packs.

I was given a code to review the game, but was not paid for my thoughts. I'd give it five stars even if I had paid, I love the way these tables play. Good mechanics, fun pinball, relaxed environments.

I think these tables are awesome, thank you ATGAMES for not forgetting about the HD family. I love my ATGAMES pinball table, one of the best pieces in my Gameroom. Obviously they don’t play exactly like mechanical pinball tables but i think that is also a fun detail about them, the digital tables lets you add some features that you could not years ago. I read some people having sound issues, I did not have this issue with my sound, the sound was great hopefully its an update or storage issue for them. Thank you and I look forward to the day you guys are able to add some ZEN tables for us HD guys. I did change my buttons to HAPP buttons and it was night and day afterwards with the game play.

These do not play like pinball games, they play like video games. Small flippers, no pinball sounds, no pinball feel. Please keep other HD Pinball games coming. Maybe try a different source that make more realistic pinball games. We will buy them if you provide them (everybody wants a real pinball experience).

ok, full disclosure, I won this game in an online trivia contest, so I didn't pay for it - I wonder if that would affect my opinion.

It is very similar to the Natural History 1 tables - If you've been playing the classic Gottlieb or Zaccaria games on your machine, these Magic Pixel ones play differently from the ones you've gotten used to. The game designers are trying to blend the feel and personality of classic, mechanical pinball with the imagination and whimsy of digital games. The tables are fun, and the animations are clever. (submarines transport your ball to other play fields)

All said, it's worth the time to see what direction virtual pinball is heading.
