Best yet!!

This pack makes me very happy. On the first Dinosaur Dynasty I suggested they use a cave man voice, like the actor on the GEICO commercials. Boy was I surprised when I started playing Dinosaur Dynasty 2!! A "Caveman" voice. And the game is awesome. This pack isn't complicated, open tables, and a lot of fun to play. I love Natures Fury and DD2 so far. I also agree this pack is much better than 1 or 2. Much more fun to play. I really hesitated but glad I finally purchased. Thanks Magic Pixel and ATGames for making my Christmas.

Natural History Pinball Pack 3, Best Pack Yet?

Is Natural History Pack 3 the best of the three releases? Many people seem to think so and I lean towards that camp for the following reasons. Open playfields, some tables tend to block up shots off the flippers making for compartmentalized play, here we have lots of long shots. Few Flippers, less flippers on the tables makes for more realistic and classic table play, many people had asked for this design choice and here we have that. Spinners, one of my favorite features in pinball is here on these tables, with Dino Dynasty really bringing the spinners! My fav table in this pack is Insect, I think it has the best colors, best ssf sounds, callouts and modes. Alot of people seem to really love Natures Fury and I would put that at number 2, with Dinos 3 closely followed by Microbes which is better than expected considering the IP. Finally having these tables at 4k resolution with super low latency on the flippers makes it an easy recommendation to purchase, Magic Pixel really upped the game, making this one of the best packs from them to date.

The age of dinosaurs continues!

That's a line that you get when you finish your game of dinosaur dynasty 2 giant Marine dinos in reptiles, and that's the game that I imagine most of you are going to dive into first, pun intended.

The playfield is brightly lit and the sounds and music are all refreshed and new. You can see all of the details on the steel ball as it rolls around the table. The surround sound kit is very lively and active here. This is easily as good as the first dinosaur dynasty. I like the games in the set because all of your objectives are always clearly lit and blinking, so I never wonder what I'm trying to hit. The sound effects are very active and exciting as well.

The next game we played was Natures Fury, the intensity of the playfield was almost intimidating to my 8 year old. Hurricane force winds, volcanic eruptions, and more disasters are all in play here. The reds and blues play very nicely on the table and the simple ramps make it easy to understand with the objectives are here too. The content of the game is all in good fun but this isn't the relaxing experience that I get for most of the natural History pinball packs. And if you're looking for more action then I think you're going to find that very engaging. Three-dimensional effects pop up out of the playfield to simulate the different storms and natural disasters that are happening and it's quite active.

World of Microbes was next... Giving maybe the most colorful play field of the group. Spell out Microbes, strain, tubes and germ for large bonuses. The loops and music are excellent and rewarding. You raise your probiotic level as you play, and the theme is unexpectedly fun.

Insects make me crawl a bit... So I spent the least amount of time playing this one but my daughter really enjoyed it and I think she actually was engaged by the different types of bugs and insects that were shown on the table. This is the relaxed experience that I hope for when I purchase natural History packs, it's a fun adventure to explore and discover different insects and it's done in a really fun way.

All four tables have really high replay value and you could spend a lot of time getting good at these particular games. The holiday sale is a great time to pick these up if you can! It's a great thing to say but now that we've reached the end of 2024 there are so many fun tables to play on the 4KP!

The Best Natural History Pack To Date

The wait is over and we'll worth it! The table designs are good but not overly complicated with upper levels and extra flippers. Those with SSF kits will enjoy the immersive sounds and call outs. The music is fresh and new. GREAT JOB!
